All sites I design are hosted with 1and1 Internet Inc. I have used them for a number of years and have been very pleased. They offer great pricing with great packages. I have had very little, if any downtime. And The support I have gotten from them is quick and very helpful. My name is Matthew Hunter. I started doing graphic design around the age of 16. I started solely with Photoshop, and tried a little web design at the time. My last year of high school I was fortunate enough to have a graphic design class with a teacher that, while didn't know much about graphic design himself, allowed us to explore on our own and work with others. This is where I really began to develop my skills. Over the next few years all of the graphic and web design work that I did was either personal, or just for friends. That was until two years ago when I began working at a printshop. I was able to finally start doing graphic design with more restrictions and direction than my personal work had up to that point. Working here, I was also able to learn more about the print side of design. This is one side that I have learned many graphic people aren't as familiar with. It was while working at the printshop, where I still work, that I also started doing web design professionally as well. I have started small and like the scale of the projects that I have worked on. I have done websites for events, fundraisers, and local competitions. Because every job is different my pricing is different for every job. The base rate for web design is $550, including one year of hosting and your own domain. However, like I said, this is just a base rate.
